Dosojin
Dosojin statues are numerous in Azumino, so much so that the village is called the treasure house of dosojin.
Dosojin are Shinto deities said to protect villages, they are often found in village centers and intersections.
There is even a pamphlet to show you the location of all the dosojin stone markers, so one of our suggestions would be to have a relaxing cycle through the village to visit the dosojin stone markers.
